Ennis Meats for sale?

Saw an add for the property and buildings where Ennis meats is operated in Langley.

Not sure if anyone uses him. I don't know if he's moving or closing down. Already lost Baltramie who was my preferred cutter. Been cutting my own since he stopped cutting game.

In my opinion, it's been a long time coming. Meat cutting is a small world with little room for negative feedback

I was heading out of town after my hunt and couldn't cut my deer myself. Went to Ennis in desperation. Asked for 10 packages of stew even shows that on the invoice. Got 30 packages
order was messed up.

Long time coming for sure. Took two moose there out of desperation and they were a nightmare to deal with. Good riddance

gotta do volume, not many out there willing to work hard for pittance wages! Butcher shop is not a high margin business, and the clientele are fussy F$&kers!! Lots of folks don't wanna pay to have a knowledgeable cutter process their food for them, or they don't want to pay what their skill and facilities are worth! Costs mega moola to run a 3 phase power system required for coolers and freezers on an industrial scale! I pay to have my stuff cut, and with my cutter, I am happy to pay his rate! I could cut it my self, but I sure do not have a cooler to hang it in, or a freezer to flash freeze it! Just wait, rates are only gonna go up next year, unless afew more folks get into the meat processing business!! Moosin
