Coward Goofs poach a yearling bighorn sheep by Spence's bridge

I seriously hope these losers get caught!! Unfuxxing believable!! There's a link at the bottom with video footage of these goofs!!

Officials in B.C. are on the hunt for a pair of possible poachers, after a yearling lamb bighorn sheep was found dead in Spences Bridge, just off Highway 1.According to the B.C. Conservation Officer Service (COS), a motorist spotted two men in a field on the north side of the freeway, just northeast of Spences Bridge. The pair both had rifles, and appeared to be in a shooting position, the COS said. They then shot and left the young bighorn in the field and fled the area.

There were two .308 caliber shell casings found at the scene, according to the COS.
Bighorn sheep are on B.C.’s “blue list,” which means they are not directly threatened, but are a species of concern.
Investigators are now looking for two men. The first is described as aged 45 to 55 years old, and was wearing a dark or black jacket with dark grey or black pants.

The second man was between 40 and 50 years old, had light coloured hair, and was wearing a brown camouflage sweater with a bright logo on the front. He was also wearing a scarf around his neck and grey or green pants.

This is terrible, exactly what anti-gun/anti-hunters will use as firepower. Hope these criminals get caught and prosecuted.

CKNW has a story on their website. Kudos for them for identifying them as poachers and not hunters. They got it right.

You always wonder what goes on in peoples heads.. Thought it was a mule deer? Always wanted to get a bighorn sheep?
    Just because we could?
I think with all the publicity its just a matter of time until they get them. I can't get over how brazen this was. The video shows they knew it was wrong as they slink away... Wonder where the vehicle was parked?

Coody be they thought it was a deer - a doe deer and then saw it up close and freaked. Just saying until we here the whole story we think of all the options.

How old were the shooters? This is another factor.

Absolutely no excuse. It is the hunter's responsibility to fully identify that an animal is legal to hunt BEFORE shooting it. Furthermore, shooting at something if you don't 100% know exactly what it is would constitute Careless Use of a Firearm, which is a criminal offence under the Criminal Code of Canada.

Sorry but they deserve all the stones that get tossed at them. If you can't tell the difference from a doe then you shouldn't be pulling the trigger. Hopefully with all the film footage on TV they get a new record high sentence. It should put some pressure on the judge to do his job for a change.......

They were older, like 50's. From what I saw they didnt go look, they just shot and ran...
