Marinated in a brine of butter, garlic, a little onion and a hint of red wine.

ALWAYS just a little less than medium rare!

    Because...

I'll give up my scope when they pry it from my cold dead hands!

    And...

    When scopes are Outlawed...

As for the Red, well... it was simply REALLY Great!!

Cheers & Merry Christmas my Friend!

Traditional (for us) Christmas Eve Fondue. Free Range Lamb, Free Range Chicken, Whitetail Tenderloin, Free Range Pork Tenderloin and all the veggies!

Served with a good Red by Candlelight of course!

Awesome as usual, and once again no room for dessert!!

I have lots of non hunters on my FB friends list. Rather than just post "hunting" pictures I like to set up an album similar to this. Show the hunt, the camp, the hunting process, the butchering and the final meal on the table. While some people will be turned off by just a "hero pic" of a dead animal, everyone likes to see the whole thing, and it helps them understand hunting more. I get lots of "I could never kill something, but totally respect hunters that will go out and get their own food"

There is a large percentage of the general public that really think that all hunters are only out to kill something, cut off it's head and mount it. Posts like these help them understand.
