    Mule deer Seasonal bag limit

Hi Guys I need clarification please, the Regulations say Provincial Bag limit is 1 Mule Deer and 2 White tail which one may be antler-less. If one gets a LEH Mule deer doe draw, will they be allowed to harvest that on top of the buck or one or the other only?

The provincial limit on deer is three, not including Haïda Gwaii i. The limit on mule deer “bucks” is one for most zones. It is explained on page 17 of the regs. Depending on the zone, you may or may not be able to harvest a doe and a buck as many of the regions have now went to one mule deer (doe or buck).

See the table below. You CAN take 2 mule/black tail in certain regions.

It looks like you are in Penticton so simple version is LEH doe tag includes the 1 Mule Deer total limit for that region. If you get a Mule Deer doe draw that does NOT allow you to also shoot a mule deer buck in that region but you can shoot a mule deer buck in regions 1 or 2. This was added this year to the regulations to reduce the mule deer taken in regions 3-8.
