    Best quick setup winter tent

Hey folks, looking to get a small tent mainly for emergency winter use pretty soon. Need one that's lw and quick to setup. I'll have a propane heater so no need for wood. I have a long journey to my second home by snowmobile and travel alone so if something happens to me or the sled I would rather not dig a snow cave in the dark and hope for the best. Would an ice fishing shack work with a tarp floor?

Second vote for an Esker. With either a propane heater or collapsible woodstove you will be toasty warm. I have camped in one when it was -15C outside and had to strip down to my underwear once the stove got going. For those using a woodstove: remove the spark arrestor from the pipe. It gets clogged up really fast and will smoke you out of the tent.
I prefer the woodstove as you will never run out of fuel here in BC.
