    Botanie Creek Road

    Is anyone familiar with this road that runs north out of Lytton ? I would like to try for chukar later this month.

    It’s indian reserve from botanie lake to just past pasulkoe lake. Other than that it’s fair game.

    Never seen a chuker in there. Chukers are found in the sagebrush areas which there is none in the valley. Botanie valley is pretty much all private land along the valley bottom, which leads to timber.

    Head north and hunt the sagebrush near lilloet or north of spences bridge along the highway.

    Does anybody pay attention to the big no hunting sign at the beginning of that road. I was up there on Friday but turned around.

    That sign means nothing to me. Their reserve doesn’t start until just before botanie lake. They don’t own the road and theirs quite a few cabins and ranches up their before you get to reserve land.
    ive seen a few hunters turn around at the gate this season because of that sign
