    Ladner Early 2018

What is flying in Ladner now? My buddy was scouting earlier this week and said he saw no snowies, just ducks .. he also figure there may be some Canadas. Anyone concur? Just wondering if I should bring out all my goose dekes this weekend or just go for ducks.

I haven't seen or heard any snowies yet in my neck of the woods... I was checking out Boundary Bay just yesterday and it was loaded with ducks... I also saw a small flock of Canada's hanging around along the shoreline. The bay can be tricky to hunt though as it's not always possible to hunt at first light with the tides being out of sync. You pretty much need to be there at high tide to make things work.

Got out on Saturday at Brunswick. Full 'parking lot' so to speak. Lots of shooting. No geese to speak of except on Westham. Just passing shots at ducks all day. Saw others had more success.

I was out on Duck island and saw two large flocks of snowgeese fly over.

    Anyone have a dog?
I have a Zodiac but no dog. would love to bring you (and your dog) along for a full day of shooting on one of the islands

ducks plentiful but flying pretty high and heading down the coast. Was able to call one down on the weekend. Snowies may be coming in next week. Saw a couple flocks headed toward Westham.
