Probably people dumping their trash, but there's also the possiblity of vandals or thieves
hoping their handiwork leaves a vehicle left while the owner goes for help so they can
strip it of anything valuable,

always carry plugs and a compressor for situations like that....quick fix without even taking the tire off....way too many peeps like to burn pallets full of nails as well as those asshats that just dump crap to not have a way to fix punctures...once got 3 flats on one trip (before I started buying good tires)...

Lotsa idiots burn pallets on the road...mostly in winter. Have had lots of flats in Vernon area

the destruction of lost creek is unfathomable..

these places used to be prestine when i was a kid...
by time i became a adult they became places not to be at night...

all that said there still is deer.

Stave and Sylvester can be like scenes from Mad Max on the weekends. I stopped riding there altogether, because on two wheels things could go a lot worse for me if I run across one of these "road hazards".
