Lol well IMO, the young whitetail bucks shot in September specifically are the best tasting deer, hands down....and if you have yet to shoot one in that timeframe, I dare you to, and tell me I'm wrong

How much meat did this young gaffer yeild you? 50-60 pounds isn’t bad especially when your just adding it to the pile

Exactly...will be butchering it today or tomorrow with a buddy, I'm guessing 50 lbs....it's nice to get something in the freezer, while elk hunting, then continue focusing on hunting elk..
