    Likely - Horsefly area

    Hi All,

We are heading up to the Likely-Horsefly area in the first week of October for a deer hunt. (whole group shutout on LEH moose again) How are the deer numbers around there? We know where we are going to set up camp via google earth but have never hunted that area. If deer numbers are not great we will pull up stakes and head elsewhere.
    Thanks

There's pockets of deer, but not lots.

Depends roughly where you plan on setting up camp for an answer. Likely/horsefly is a little too general.

Miocene or Big lake is where I'd go.
