Wolf boats???

Anyone own, or spent time on a wolf boat?? If so, your impressions would be appreciated. Considering a 20' windshield/ragtop model for use primarily on quesnel lake, with occasional trips to the chuck.

My buddy has a 18-20ft Wolf river boat with a sportjet, I think they were made in falkland. Well made boats, he took his boat up to the Gatho river last year and got a pretty respectable stone sheep.

There is also a Wolf boats on the Island just north of Courtenay.

Wolf is in Merville, just north of Courtenay. I’ve been in 3 Wolf boats and there is no doubt they are well designed and built.

I first met Wolfgang over 20 years ago when he was working at Daigle’s. Great guy and a truly gifted fabricator. I’ve had a few things built there over the years from fuel tanks to 2 aluminum Outboard pods. Never an issue.

I wouldn’t hesitate to have them build me a boat if I was in the market for one.

We ran a wolf boat for years. They are good, solid metal boats... and I like a metal boat.



We had a lot of good times in this boat, and caught a lot of fish in it over a ten year period.



This boat is totally functional for sport-fishing, though not set up for guiding. We took it out in some gnarly stuff, although we would wait for good weather before running too far off shore.

We're no longer running this boat--upgraded to a ThunderJet--but I might know how someone could get their hands on it (PM me).

If you're looking at a Wolf, I say go for it.
