    Stony Lake (7-06) Road Conditions

Our group has a couple bull moose draws in region 7-06 this fall. We have a decent understanding of the area but won't able to get out for a scout prior to our trip in early October. Does anyone have any updates on the condition of the Naver Creek road into Stony from Dunkley or access from the south - Barkerville highway via 2400 road. We will be hauling a horse trailer and camper in, hoping to stay at one of the Stony Rec sites and hunt from there via atv.

Any other tips on active logging areas/road updates in 7-06 would be much appreciated!

    Cheers,
    Ryan

If you go in at Naver.
You should have no issues reaching Stony rec sites.
We camped half way down Stony on the far side.
The road on that side of Stony is good but fets brushed in pretty good.
You can quad and truck that road no issues as long as you dont mind bush scratches

Those roads wont be a problem but there could be industrial traffic on them

Don't go from the 2400 road. It's really grown in and rough. Naver creek up the 700 road will be the way to go.
Live to hunt, hunt to live!!!!!
