I hope everyone is excited for the upcoming hunts and good luck to the guys who left for the sheep opener. I leave Friday for a 12 day sheep hunt up north.

I'd like to present the Mindful Hunter Backcountry Meal Planning Guide. If you follow any of my content you know that I am a huge fan of sharing knowledge and tools that are backed by science and experience. I have been deeply frustrated with the lack of clear evidence-backed information regarding nutritional strategies for the backcountry. So I decided to do something about it. This is the first in a series of quick reference guides I have planned for a variety of topics focused on backcountry hunting. All of which will be given out for free. This one is definitely for the gear nerds in the crowd who like to dig into the details.
