    Rangefinding binoculars

I'm looking to replace a pair of leica geovids(the older HD-R model) that got stolen but can't justify spending thousands at this time. Does anyone have good experiences with budget(let's say sub-1500$) rangefinder binos. I've looked through a pair of vortex fury that were alright but the low-light clarity and field of view were disappointing. The warranty is great though.
Just wondering what peoples thoughts are on other brands
