    Rimfire scope recommendations <$150-200

What does anyone recommend for a rimfire scope these days? Likely a 4x32 fixed. I have one of the $50 ones that comes with rings but it's basically a POS. Looking to upgrade this year...

    thanks

Scorpion optics. 4x32. They come with either dovetail or Weaver rings your choice. I have 2 on 22’s that get abused. $54 plus shipping right from scorpion. Reticle is great too with some extra dots for elevation

I like the Nikon Prostaff Rimfire II (not the p-rimfire) because of Nikon's Spot On ballistic tech. Means I can head-shot grouse at just about any reasonable distance.

The usually go on sale for about $150ish

What kind of rimfire? On my .17 hmr I have Simmons 22 mag 3-9x32 that works really well, I think it was around $150 it’s nice and clear, I’ve dropped it a couple times and it’s always stayed zeroed. I’ll probably buy another one for my .17 wsm too.

I have had many cheap optics. By something higher end and move it from rifle to rifle as your interests change. $500+ seems about the first step to optics that will live on any rifle. Redfields do a good job.

I have a Leupold VX1 on my Anschutz 1416 .22. I also looked at the Anschutz branded KK50 made by Hawke. Available thru Nordic Marksman. It was out of stock when I was looking, hence the Leupold.

The Weaver Rimfire 2-7 or 3-9 are excellent as well.
