With the restrictive seasons on mulies and the fires roaring yet again. Who is gearing up and getting the shakes I personally can't wait for the weekend! Stoked to get out and slink through some cuts and coolies.. Just gotta make it a few more days and we're golden LOOKOUT MOUNTIANS. I'm coming.

Sept 5th for where we hunt. I'll be hiking in before first light with a buddy. Looking for 6pt elk or a decent muley buck! We wouldn't pass on a moose/whitetail/bear if given the chance... but they aren't the main targets. One week!

The daughter and I will be creeping around to our spot on a hidden bench below a ridge we found scouting this year, hopefully the recent rains will enable a little more stealth for us, last year the ground was baked to a crisp and couldn't see 20 feet out due to smoke.
