I have 188 hours in the new Journey this season and hoping to get 40 or so more before the snow flies. They are an amazing boat.

Depends if you want this boat for just yourself or to take others with you.

12' Sprat or Journey will be trailer boats if it's a one man show - or a boat loader.

I've had all the popular aluminum small jon's for flyfishing and I have a 10' Sprat for just myself. I took the center bench out and put a flat floor and pedestal seat in place - I love it but it's heavy. I have a 7.5' inflatable for tough shallow/muddy launches or where I have a longer distance to drag/roll to. I prefer the Spratly but I really liked the 2-bench 10' Valco - that's a good one if you find one. Don't get the Valco 3-bench - it's narrow and not enough leg room.

Really liking the 9' 6" Journey so far. Logged 186 hours seat time in it this year already and hoping for few more.
