    Binocular help. 700 dollar budget

    Hello everyone.

I habe learned the the hard way and have 3 pairs of 100 dollar binoculars collecting dust.

i recently had a birthday and a bunch of people gave me money to buy a small boat but I had a change of heart and now want to put that money to a set of binoculars . I want something that’s gonna last. Looking to spend no more than 700 but prefer 300 because I have my eyes on something else also but I will spend up to 700.

I hunt deer , moose and elk. Let’s hear your opinions and where to get them from. Go!

Viper HD 8x42 if you can blow the wad, otherwise Diamondback 8x42

Vortex viper HD are on sale for $699 right now at Cabelas which is $160 off. I would personally go in to a store and compare all the binos in your price range and see what you like best.

I like the Zeiss Terra ED for around 450 as a good option. I have those, as well as the Mojave Leupold and they both do the job. I hadn't came around to the cheaper Vortex options. Nikon products are supposed to be pretty good these days.

I was very happy with my zeiss terra ED. Those are in your price range and they were excellent.

Viper would be great. I think a hbc member is selling a pair for a good deal.

I can’t find the add. Maybe it was on kijiji. They were asking $400.

    Nikon monarchs 7......the 10x42......awesome glass
Never argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level then beat you with experience.

I don't have an attitude problem; you must have a perception problem.

My son has the Monarch 5’s. They’re excellent and I’m told the 7’s are even better.
