Chatted with a couple guys sounds like the rain had really helped I’ve been looking at every webcam in the area skies look to have cleared up a lot.

sounds like driving through Dease might even be interesting this year.

Id get a plan B as close to execution as possible, it would suck to wait until next year to chase moose/elk/caribou/etc

I just flew out and back in with some delays but no biggie. They got two planes and three pilots working. They’ll get you to your lake. Just be patient. It’s the smoke that’s an issue not the flames. Fires not even close.

Depends where you go. Was good northwest. East was pretty smoky. Of course the wind can change....
