    Cool Re: Favorite broadheads

With the rather extreme power and speed my Matrix 380 offers, mechanicals are the obvious choice.
I run 125 grain NAP Spitfires on 400 grain (dressed) arrows that boogie along right around 365 feet a second.
These broadheads almost always present pass-throughs (unless hitting very heavy bone on the offside), leave great and short blood trails.
That, and they fly identical to my field points to any given range.

Entirely unlikely I'll be switching any time soon...
Couple dozen deer can't all be wrong...

    Cheers,
    Nog

    Re: Favorite broadheads

I have the grim reaper mechanicals right now but I have been looking to switch to fixed blades, the dirtnap DRT double beveled broadheads look sharp.... HA! See what I did there!? But it's between the slick tricks and the dirtnaps for me.

First year shooting a bow. So far the G5 Striker is working good. Zipped through a bear really well.

Slick Trick for fixed and hypodermic's for mechanical.

    Depends on the hunt.
