    CZ 455 Stainless

GF just picked up a new CZ 455 .22lr, waiting on the scope and mounts to come in for it. Anybody have one of these units and have some feedback on them.

I have a 453, I paid dearly for it, but I thought it was still great value for what I paid. I play with the 22 quiets. Good times. So quiet it sounds like a hand clap.

Mine is something I know I’ll be satisfied with for the rest of my life, can’t ask for more than that. I put on the small Vx-2 in matte black, with Leupold rifleman rings.

Have a CZ 455, have shot it routinely for a few years at local club. It's a strange beast in some ways.

    - Extremly accurate as most CZ owners will verify
    - Need to experiment with ammo, for some reason mine likes it hot, and performs best with match ammo at 1200 fps
    - Bore is restricted compared to other 22LR, when cleaning I push a swab through using. .17 rod instead of .22
    - Scope mounting grooves are non-standard, I use a one piece mount designed for air rifles

Maybe a bit late to answer, but first off: my CZ 455 22.LR is my favourite .22
Super accurate, likes CCI Mini-Mag best, CCI Stingers are OK too, but with that short barrel, Mini-Mag seems more accurate on mine.
Mounted with a Nikon Prostaff Rimfire II.
I prefer the metal magazine vs. the plastic.
If I'd have to just keep one .22, this would be the one. (although I also enjoy my 10/20 take-down... but not as much as the 455).
