For various reasons I haven't put the boat in the water for two years. I have a nephew visiting and would like to take him fishing. Going to launch at Sooke, what area closures, and what can we keep (salmon wise) I just haven't been keeping up with the fishing scene, seems it's changing rapidly.

Best bet is to phone the local DFO office and the notices should be posted at the launch sites.

Got it Boxhitch, rules changing daily, what is it gonna be like in another decade? Computer strapped to your wrist and checking it every five minuted? Glad I'm on my way out, lived in the best of times.
