Anybody know the typical early fall conditions of the Sukunka fsr road off Hwy 29? I am wondering if I could get my small travel trailer back in there a ways.

You sure can. just watch out for all the trafic and if you dont have a radio dont go in with out one you will need radio freq 18a just for the first 18 km then it switches cant remember what its number is .
KEEP SHOOTING OR SHOOT A BIG GUN!!!!
IF YOU DON'T HUNT YOU AINT RIGHT IN THE HEAD!!!!!!!!!
A SCREAMING ELK THERE'S NOTHIN BETTER!!!!!!
KNOW WHEN TO KEEP THE WIFE OUT OF MY HUNTING SPOTS !!!!!!!!!!
The first 16.5 km is the worst for traffic. If you wait at the start of the road you can follow a coal truck to 16.5, then they turn off on the Lower Burnt. Be sure to wait at 16.5 for a coal truck on your way out also. They haul 24/7.
I`ve worked in the bush 20 years and that road is the busiest I`ve ever seen and has many narrow spots along the river with river one side and bank the other.
I would have shot more...but I ran outta shells
You should be aable to pull your trailer to 39km on that road the guys are right super busy the first 16.5 km there is a camp spot at rocky creek at 27km
you dont what to go in that valley way to much activity
I was just in there. The frequency changes to 10C at km 20. I don't think I would go in there without a radio. You couldn't follow anyone the way it is now. Way to dusty to stay close to them.
Do forget to check out the sukunka falls, " I smoke skunk at the sukunka" funny sayings found engraved in the fence above the trail in LOL
radio frequency is 18a from 0-20km and 10a from 20-39
just follow a coal truck in and out 0-16.5km, from there its a really quiet (just us operators)
I think we can make it, those rocks look pretty soft!
Is sukunka still mine traffic HEAVY?
