Cooler temps coming next week.... maybe floss-a-Rama? Boat launch shit show? Maybe....
Over heard a fellow today
claims the river is loaded with socks and possibly a sport opening as soon as this week sometime
i am sure the river is stuffed right know...i am also sure the water temp is high and they will be claiming extra escapment.
On mobile so cant link but the DFO met on July 27th and the report states that things were looking good for an opening.
Next meeting July 31st .... so I suppose there will most likely be an early August opening for commercial and recreational
I havent participated in the sockeye snaggery for 14 years now .....but I'll have to go out and snag me a few for the smoker this summer.
Was out walking the dyke this morning and could see/hear sockeye jumping as the schools were heading upriver, fingers xed for an opening soon!
Pemby Quote: "Ah well ,cant be perfect" .... " sometimes i think that this tread is actually a wormhole to another dimension"
sounds good on the DFO report if the numbers stay the same as last week it will open
