We’ll be launching at Wellington point and heading out to the mouth of the Fraser, I’m not exactly sure where, my brothers the guy with the boat, I’m just along for the ride.

That won’t make a difference, there’ll be thousands of people out until they close it again, was in army and navy the other day and there was all kinds of people buying their snagging gear and licenses.

I chair the Lower Fraser Valley Sport Fishing Advisory Committee and as such, I was on the Fraser River sockeye weekly call.

Fired up the boat this morning. Should be good to go .
The wife is looking to can some sockeye as this is the only way it really keeps for any length of time.
I am getting too old and tired to stand and cast all day so I may resort to the bar rig for springs instead.
