I've just moved up here from the LML and if anyone can point out where I should look out for duck/goose hunting in this area, it would be appreciated.

I am 4hrs west and hunt waterfowl. The thing I have noticed is there is very few hunters targeting waterfowl in northern BC but the birds are around. You just need to get out and scout
I have been researching kitimat and Rupert for waterfowl. It is a wintering area for some waterfowl species so should be some decent places to hunt if you scout. Seems like once again very few hunt waterfowl in that area
any waterfowling up around terrace?
vandeehouf late september is comparible to saskatchewan..
Kittamat is good after all the ponds freeze up, we used a canoe to cross over at Minette bay, the best time is when the weather is bad and the tied is coming in to keep them moving. There is lots of small ponds along the terrace to prince Rupert highway or along the river when the tied is out.
thanks for the thoughts and suggestions.
I don't drive, so would be relying on my SiL to help out...and he's got family so can't venture out to far for too long.
and all the comments about the ponds and such of the side of the HWY. just a bit concerned about the 200m rule.
