    Alibaba?

A 4X4 site I follow had a discussion about sourcing roof top tents from Alibaba. Some of the feedback on product quality was good and prices were considerably lower (50%+) than domestic suppliers. I decided to have a look for decoys there and was not impressed - apparently there are some pretty shonky looking mallards in China. My hopes of finding a Sitka Delta wading jacket for $50 were also dashed. That said, curious to know whether anyone has ordered hunting gear (or anything else) from the site and, if so, what you impressions are?

The items I wanted to order required you to order 1000 units. This is China we are talking. It is made as cheap as physically possible. And most often sewn or assembled by prisoners or detainees.
The challenge of retirement is how to spend time without spending money.
The worst day slinging lead is still better than the best day working.
Look around is there someone you can introduce to shooting because that’s the only way we will buck the anti gun trend sweeping Canada! "tigrr 2006"

Generally smaller quantities are available on AliExpress. I’ve ordered a few things from there. As long as my expectations have been realistic I’ve been pretty satisfied. But you do generally get what you pay for. Ten bucks for a set of sling swivels with the studs vs twenty eight bucks in town if I recall. Rifle hasn’t hit the ground. Yet......
