    all honesty if i was planning a deer hunt....
    smithers would be the least likely for succes..
    some nice deer around fraser lake and then east province wide...nice blacktails downtown rupert other than that i think poor choice..same money you could be in the peace..that said the right pocket could produce..from oct 25th to nov 25 rutty times province wide..

    Well we have access to some private agricultural land in zone A 0f 6-08.

    Hoping there may be some whitetail or mule deer around the first week of November.

    Heard there is also a LEH for elk up there this year too.

    To my knowledge white tail have not been taken yet in 6-8. There are smaller populations in 6-9 For sure.

    This will be the first year of LEH ELK in private land. Saw a cow in my field 2 days ago so that has my hopes up.

    Keep in mind deer here aren't big 4 points are pretty rare and depending on the snow they can be spread out all over.

    Region 6 is without a question a beautiful place but it is hard hunting
