I like my Badlands 2200, with the bow boot.

I use a Slumberjack Rail Hauler frame with a small dry bag to carry all of my day hunting stuff. Pretty light and carries like a dream. Can also pull a quarter out with no problems either. For longer trips I just use a larger dry bag for multi day hunts.

    Any suggestions?

i like the look of the Badlands 2200, so might consider that as a benchmark

I grabbed one of the new mystery ranch Mules from Nechako a while back. Best choice ever.

I like my 2200. But it's not enough pack to haul a deer out. So I generally use my ox these days, just cinch it down. Not that it did a lick of good this year, only meat I hauled was 2 grouse, probably would have been ok with my 2200 for that.

For fall: mystery ranch metcalf. It’s enormous. Why? B/c you can chop up a deer into a few pieces an put the whole ting in there, bones and all with room to spare. Comfy to pack out. It’s all about the pack out.

spring: after years of walking around I’ve switched to a Chevy 2500 diesel. I still walk but for spring bears the truck is the most effective tool. I don’t want to complain about being busy - busy is great, but this week I just want to get the deed done

I use this baby for my upland bird and water fowl hunting. I love it as well.

I'm surprised the superday is getting so much love and the clutch isn't ... I've tried both and personally found the clutch to be the better bag.
