Yes. We also have boxes with horizontal cuts every 1/2” up to the opening and they work well too.
Only ever found one dead newborn in a box. Brew, the ducklings jump out of the box the morning after they hatch!
Glad you guys are enjoying the pics always great to do a check and see what’s new in the boxes and on the trail cam pics!

Thats super cool. I watched a family make the first jump once, cool to see, couldnt stop laughing after they bounced.
