    Kuiu Mountain Star

Just looking for some reviews on the 2p Mountain Star Kuiu has.

Was going to pre order the new SG Skyscraper but started looking into Kuius tent and think it may suit me better as I dont really need a 4 season tent.

    Thanks in advance!

Hopefully they fixed the leaking issue that they had originally... like scoop water out of tent leaking...

Have you looked at the Nemo Dagger? Well rated. Just got a 3P but haven't had a chance to try it yet.

I’d go SG over Kuiu, myself.

I like my Kuiu MS,it handles the rain really well, and I'm a huge Stone glacier fan but just didn't need the 4 season heavier tent. They fixed the new tents compared to the first gen 1's.

I got a good one apparently. It hasn't seen tons of rain, but I have never had anything more than condensation inside. Also, it helps when your sheep partner snores so loudly he packs his own tent to keep the peace! I've only slept twice in my two man tent with more than just me in it.

I have used mine lots, over 100 nights so far. No leaks. Have been in some pretty good rain, snow etc, seems to handle high wind pretty good, easy to set up after the first time.

Glad to read these reviews. I just won one from the BCWF Raffle! That and the Kuiu backpack. I don't really need another 2 person tent as I'm always family camping these days. But, I'm going to set it up and see how I like it. I might sell it but haven't decided yet.
