Never had any complaints with my tru-fire. Have since given it to my brother and switched to a thumb release (Stan shootoff). Just personal preference I guess. I did notice it fraying the d loop a bit as it was a caliper style, but that's basically why the d loop is there anyway, right??

My tru fire release ate through D loops like crazy. I tried to sand down any hard edges on the caliper but no matter what, It would fray. I eventually switched to a tru ball release and have had no more issues. Just my 2 cents.

I'm using a tru fire sear. After a few training sessions the sear came loose and released an arrow in mid-draw. I've retightened the set srews with loctite and nothing happened since. Apart from that I really like the release.
