    7-15 Moose Hunt

    Hello Friends,
Got one of the 7-15 Moose Draws! This is my first successful LEH too!
Has anyone had any success in this area? Anybody willing to point me in the right direction?

7-15 is right on the edge of Prince George, so it’s busy. But there are moose around.. my wife had a bull draw there last year, she got her bull, but it took some time. Find a good spot and stick with it, the further you get from the road, the better. Avoid loop roads close to town, especially during the week, tons of guys(myself included when the mood strikes me) “go for a drive” before or after work.

Good luck, the wolves have been busy in that area, but I did see a very big bull moose there last season while hunting the GOS.

That’s my back yard. I’ve hunted it lots over the past 12 years or so. My only problem with some of 7-15 is it gets awful busy with buglers chasing imaginary 6 point elk.

Me too. Walk off the road and down that brutal slope to the river bottom. Bushwack your way to an open area and camp for a week or 2, calling morning and evening. If you get lucky, you can carry a moose up that miserable slope (only a few hundred meters, but so steep), jump in the truck and done. I just didn’t have a draw last yr.

This is more likely what you will find. Generally they won’t come close if you walk down that hill though.

    Texted ya rimfire!!
"A good day hunting is mud on your truck or blood on your hands"

“Some people go to church and think about hunting……………others go hunting and think about God!”

It's actually called the 375 "ouch and ouch"!!
