    Mu 7-16

    Good day all,

I will be headed to MU 7-16 Oct 2018 as my area with my leh is not available due to wild fires, I am looking for some info on this new area. What would be a good campsite to start from, how is the moose hunting and is it worth getting an elk tag? I know everyone has secret spots that I am not looking for, I am just looking for some starting points. My hunting buddy and I definitely are going in blind to this area but we do learn fast as we have hunted for years. Thanks for any help. Good luck to all this fall and I hope everyone fills their freezers.

    Cheers

My bad, I was thinking 7-17, pretty busy area, decent moose, few elk, bring a bear tag for sure. Boundary lakes a decent spot, good fishing and fairly central.

Try a canoe float down the Parsnip River as an option . Remember though one side of the river is 7-23
