    2017 upland bird hunts

Amazing Alberta hunt for Pheasant, Sharptail and Hungarian Partridge, topped off with several wonderful B.C. hunts for those devious Chukar.

Good blue shooting with my lab in region five this year. Don't have any photos. Also had my ten year old son on lots of ruffies and spruce. We made a 2 spruce per day limit and then would see how close we could stalk them and take fake shots.

congrats .... looks like a great time.

used to hunt pheasant with my father back in Europe and it was always a very fun time. We'd just go in the fields behind my grandma's house and have a blast. We used one of his hunting hounds so they didn't know how to point and when we'd down a bird he'd take it and run away with it for 15 minutes at a time. lol.
