Thanks for thinning out the wolves a bit! Region 3 or ?
I like lynx & wouldn't shoot one personally. They are specialists & mainly just eat snowshoe hares (which breed like rabbits ; ). However, I do understand that lynx populations are also monitored/managed by wildlife biologists & trapping is the only way to control some species.

exellent work...lots of skinning to do...
That worked out pretty good
its gonna take a life time to hunt and fish all this
Hi guys just did a fast trip back up to the line. Setup two more bait pile ,one of then is only a km from the first and the other is about 16 km away. I wanted to set up a new bait pile close to the other just in case they would not go back to where the others were caught. Well they did come back , the remaining 3 spent last night or early morning at the pile. They kept away from where the other wolves were caught and did not go right into the bait. Instead they chewed on the bones they scatted earlier in the week. So another couple doz snares out i'm hoping for a few more next week. We also picked up another lynx
RemingtonJim yes very odd getting any canine in a 330 , so far only 1 yoti and 1 wolf
Finngun yes fun part is checking the traps 12 hours into skinning last weekends catch
SteepNdeep the line is in 3 and there are a lot more lynx around than you think , I will attach a pic of my best weeks catch of lynx
If you guys want I will keep this thread going for the season
Well done!! Keep up the great work and yes please do keep this thread rolling...
