HBC - what would you do this weekend? Swing for the fence or bunt?

Guy and Girls! I'm conflicted. Solo hunt this weekend because I only have one deer in the freezer and I need to add some bricks! - so the kids are staying home. I love to hunt with them, but it's a whole other shooting match when it's this cold.

    So here's my situation:

Option 1) I can hunt region 2 in my backyard (Squamish) and maybe connect with (any buck). Risky. Low population compared to my usual blacktail stomping grounds... I'd put my chances at low to very low. I have a couple of pockets - but I'm not the only one in there. Low population - heavy traffic (especially closing weekend).

Or I can hunt region 3 and swing for the four point fence! I'd say the deer numbers are healthy in the area I want to hunt... and I know where the does are. But will I see a four pointer and connect? I'd put my chances at low.

    What would you do HBC?

look in your own Soul.... where would you go and wish you went to the other place?
I would go to the spot that has my boots connected to the ground the longest....

I prefer Region 3 or 5 to our backyard. I prefer to see a dozen deer that I can't shoot than none.

It is going to be warm around here, not sure about the interior but it will be warm here.

I'd go to region 3, I like to atleast see stuff when I'm out even if I can't shoot it.

Seen some secondary rut action this week region three...been one of those falls. Not much snow deer spread out sooo going to be some does not covered...though personal opinion pretty poor for the freezer.

I'd put a little science to it. I see three main things that you can get out of the weekend. A deer, a good experience and intel for next year. Both sound similar for chance of shooting a deer at low, so IMO its a wash there, so just ask yourself this.
Which area is likely going to the most enjoyable experience.
Which area am I likely going to get the best intel for next year.
its gonna take a life time to hunt and fish all this
