Old 'Greyface' still gets it done

Went on an impromptu duck hunt this afternoon after a failed morning search for a doe to cut my 3rd tag on.

Played sneaky bugger through the weeds on a few Widgeon along the shoreline and dropped a drake right off and then a hen a little while later. Spirit, a bit more grey than last year, can still get the job done.

    Always a good day.

Some of my favourite pictures of my dog Maddy were when she was alll grey and she would sit there almost smiling while she looked at the birds! She didnt grey up until after 9 though.
Nice picture and looks like a good looking Widgeon too.

Love old dogs, they are just so wise and look it. I would never have believed how much I missed My Keela till the opening day shoot.

Special times with our Best of Friends... Our hunting dogs, they create great memories to come forever. Pics of my water dogs adore my man cave.

    Thanks for the share
