    Help in Saskatchewan

I haven’t searched much yet but was wondering the ins and out of getting an over the counter tag for whitetail in Saskatchewan (PA area)? My parents are now residents. Can I get a tag and just go for it under the hunter/host deal? I’m continuing to research here now. Dad has his license and already bagged a whopper 200 yards from the house! Lol....

Too late this year you have to put in for a lottery draw

No such thing as over the counter tags for non residents in Sask for whiletail. We do not have a host hunter program either.
Would love to be someone’s packhorse on a goat hunt.

Well if you have immediate family there it will help. The Family first applicants get picked first ...

Sask Environment website has clear information about the Canadian Resident draw process.Get your information from the source.
There is a family preference for Canadian Residents in the draw.
There are no over the counter tags for non-residents of Saskatchewan, an no hunter host program as exists in B.C and Alberta.

The odds are very good with the family / lottery draw angle. But your too late for that this year.
I think bears on the other hand you can just buy an over the counter tag ( at Least that's how my uncle did with me a couple years back) not sure if it was easy bc he was family or not.
Hows your old man enjoying retirement? Or has he started ranching do keep busy?

I can likely do that for you, but you first must make a little room in your PM files so I can contact you...
