    Lol, no I ended up buying a seek outside shelter. I am being offered one on a trade. The refuge has been around for a few years and there is only one half decent review. Maybe that tells you something.

    Its great, running a redcliff with liner and a 2 person nest on one side with a six moon design one person nest on the other side, also run a 3w stove. Its a great setup for 3 guys. Used it on a multi day backpack hunt for elk last year moving camp every day.

    lots of positive things about seek outside shelters, don't even hear about that refuge tent from kooooyooo.

    IMO there are better tents then the Kuiu Refuge. I have a Kuiu Mountain Star and think it's a pretty decent tent, but have only used it below treeline, so far, so will reserve comment. I typically take a floorless shelter above treeline and have had good success with Dyneema shelters from Hyperlight Mountain Gear, Seek Outside and Locus Gear. I'd take any of them and others over the Kuiu Refuge.
