    Tall gaiters

Hi guys. Who makes the tallest gaiters out there?

I have long legs and have issues with gaiters sliding down my calf. Would like a pair that is long enough to go over the calf to just below the knee. That way it's above the widest part of the top of the calf not right on it.

Used OR and currently MEC gaiters. Don't like either really. Both keep sliding down.

Can you measure the kuiu ones? Just looked on their site and they do seem fairly tall but give no specs on them. Thanks!

I like the kenetrek gaiters, by far the quietest I've found so far and they fit as you described

I use the kuiu's as well and have had no problems. I'm 6'1" so not crazy tall, but they have done their job.

That doesnt' seem any taller than my MEC gaiters. hmm.

But if they seem to be working for you guys, maybe i should give them a try next.

I've had gaiters with the strap and buckle up top, and found that when i knelt down the strap would not allow for my calf to stretch out properly and would be uncomfortable so i've been wearing ones that had the elastic draw string instead.

I really wish they would just offer a tall size as well, in addition to the "girth" sizes they offer

Thanks for the measurements and feedback guys!

I realize I was mistaken but when I read that I imagined you putting gaiters on upside down (strap and buckle up) and started to chuckle.

I've never had the problem you describe. I use the MEC ones but have used Kuiu too. I find by the time the velcro is sealed they are pretty much mashed against my calf/shin and there isn't much movement.

Important piece of kit, for sure, I hope you get it sorted.
