The BC hunting community has lost a champion.

My condolences to his family and friends.

Thank you Rich for all you've fought for over the years.
You've left some big shoes to fill.

    RIP

A true shame he was a kind and generous person. I remember spending much of my free time in college at the library reading the stories he had on his website. He mentioned putting those stories into a book, which I sure hope will be done. He will be missed by many.
The Rocky Mountains is the Marrow of the World
"Ain't this somethin'? I told my pap and mam I was going to be a mountain man; acted like they was gut-shot. "Make your life go here, son. Here's where the people is. Them mountains is for Indians and wild men." "Mother Gue", I says "the Rocky Mountains is the marrow of the world," and by God, I was right. Keep your nose in the wind and your eye along the skyline."

Rich has been an inspiration for many with his tireless advocating for fish and wildlife.

The hunting community, and conservation, is diminished without his ongoing efforts.

RIP Rich, it was an honour to know you.

Growing old is unavoidable. Growing up is highly overrated....
