Saskatchewan Whitetail are awesome table fare especially when grain fed off the farmers fields.
Having grown up on a farm I can testify to their size, it was not uncommon to have a nice buck dress 180+ with a decent rack.
I have one rack in my shop from an old buck that has 9 points on one side with 7 on the other, chipped two off fighting.
We preferred Whitetail meat to Mulie as it didn’t seem so ‘ gamey ‘...
Lord, Please help me to become half the man my Dog thinks I am..
