In 2018 we are very excited to be working with Clay Lancaster and Lancaster Expeditions. Clay has supported the Wild Sheep Society of BC through donation and seminars at our fundraisers in the past. Clay is a BC born and raised guide and outfitter from a family with a long and successful history in the industry. He has been guiding and outfitting for Desert Bighorns since the early 2000’s all over Mexico. This year’s Desert Sheep hunt will be based from Hermosillo, Mexico on one of Clay’s regular hunting spots and Clay himself will guide the winner. Lodging is right at the ranch headquarters and much more comfortable than your typical BC sheep hunt! All travel to, from and during the hunt as well as accommodations, licenses and tags are included. Hunt dates will be subject to the winners schedule in December 2018 or January 2019. Our second prize is the gold standard of sheep hunting optics, a Swarovski ATS 20-60 x 65mm HD angled spotting scope. It has been fully donated by Omer Hrbinic and Precision Optics of Quesnel, BC. Omer has a great reputation as a premium optics dealer and we are excited to have him on board! http://www.precisionoptics.net/. As always the profits from the WSR Raffles will be used for on the ground wild sheep habitat enhancement projects and critical habitat property purchases in BC. This raffle has been a big part of the growth and increased project funding we have been able to accomplish in the last few years for the betterment of BC’s wild sheep.
