Lots of private land interspersed amongst crown land. Get a map and know where you are. Ungulate populations are down like the rest of 7B. Good scenery.
I used to work in the Yukon and drove through lots, remember seeing lots of deer!
Numbers are nothing like the eighties if that is when you are referring too.
Serenghetti of the north. You will turn down numerous animals before you find your critter. Don't shoot the first critter you see, there's lots to choose from!!

nicest country I have ever hunted...got skunked though....lots of private land as stated above.
I've been skunked there quite a few times, but not this year.
Hunted up there this year but did not see any bull moose just cows but did manage to get a cow elk.
