Thoughts? Seems big for a cow moose? No?

But: this was 20 days ago, of course the snow track was 10 out of camera view.

I would lean towards cow . But I'm no expert
wonder what’s over the next hill?
You'll want to find a spot where the back feet contact the front tracks.
If the back (the ones on top) are wider than the front, likely cow. If narrower or inline with the front, likely bull. Cows have a wider pelvis for bearing young and consequently their back hooves run further apart than a smaller-assed bull.
Track looks like Cow to me, Bull is heavier on rear of hoof, dew claw marks not predominant in the snow.
2nd Picture appears to show antler growth.

I say cow,no dew claw
I say "hahahaha" to everyone that thinks they can sex a moose from a print

Any other pics of the tracks? I'm going to say bull tracks and the pic is a cow
I saw a beautiful set of bull moose tracks the other day. The only problem is, I watched the cow make them. This year I've become more and more convinced that the presence of dew claws in a track doesn't indicate anything but animal weight and ground hardness.

If an animal is going to die so that I might live, the least I can do is perform the unsavoury deed myself.
I also laugh when people sex an animal by the track. What other species can you do this with?
