Hi all, stating the obvious for some . . .

But on my hunting travels this year in the snow, I have been dropping GPS location marks of heavily used trails I saw in the snow. The idea being to trail camera those locations and look at possible blind construction(s) next summer. It's surprising how well the trails show up [even without the snow] since the leaves have fallen.

Was pleasantly pleased that several of my camera spots were seeing lots of tracks last weekend [I had already pulled the cameras the weekend before, since my snow tracks could tempt any unscrupulous people to take them].

A few spots that looked great, were total busts for the cameras and the snow verified the lack of critters.

Granted, things change throughout the year . . . but there are trails that are used year round.

Cheers, VFX
