I always found that if you go slowly and not appear threatening, you can easily get within 50 yds of sheep - ewes, lambs, and even rams. Goats too. The trick is to get within 100 meters without being seen to start with.Originally Posted by twoSevenO

A picture is a lot easier than shooting him and packing him out, just not very good eating.
