Bare Lake & Boneparte plateau fishing

Found some lakes up high while moose hunting, anyone have any experience fishing these lakes? Really curious as I want to head back up to fish them

There are some good lakes Elbow, Moose, Bare but there all in a no vehicle access area. Long walk, horse ride or maybe bike to get in there. The resorts pushed bard for the exclusion area to be setup to keep locals away from their paying guests, many US folks.

do they taste like mud or they good Eating? Always like a smaller pan fry but don’t want to waste a fish if they are ‘muddy’ tasting?

Not as remote as one would imagine! Logging/ forest fire has opened up that country over the past decades (also ruined the fishing, imho. ;( )
