I just run a single adjustable pin. When hunting I set it at 30 yards and leave it there unless I have time to move it

I use, on 2 bows PSE Slider single pin and on my target disco bow I use a PSE Slider 2. The 1st model has the light configured from the top, the #2 the light is configured from the side. Both will lower far enough for 70m distance. Sometimes your upper limb pocket is too close to the verticle mounted light and contacts it as the bow flexes. The side mounted light corrects that. I fully agree with the above, except I hunt with my pin at 25 yrd mark, after that range finder of course.

Good to get some opinions from single pin and multiple pin guys.
Out to 25 or 30 yards, are you pretty much aiming with the pin or are you compensating for closer shots?

I use a single pin slider. Multi pin sights were too cluttered for me,blocked the sight picture too much for me

    I'm shooting 5 pins ( relative beginner)
20-60 yards. I find 5 pins easy to keep track however, I bet 7 would be confusing.
It would be nice to have the ability to dial further for fun shots in the yard. Currently 30 yards would be my comfortable max range. However, every now and the then my 60 yard groups look really good.... makes me wonder what it would be like to shoot further ( for fun only).

A multi pin slider would be my next sight

I have a 7 pin, I shoot to 80 yards on targets just for fun. A 4 pin would be plenty for my hunting style.
Most my shots have been under 20 yards. Some mere feet.

Practice shooting ultra close, it's almost as hard as shooting 60 yards!

5, multi cross hair sight 20-60yds. Bottom of the post gives me 85yds just for fun, and longer rest between rounds.
70lbs is not out of the reach of most people depending on your size and build. IF you put in the the time, up a couple a lbs a week. But with the right arrow weigh probably not necessary to go higher than you are now.
No one on their death bed ever said; I should have spent more time at work.
